Digital Infuzion is seeking a Front-End Developer to join our team. You will contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of an existing cloud-based data management platform designed to accelerate scientific research and discovery through data harmonization, data sharing, and reporting of research results. The platform supports multiple diseases, research domains, and data types.  This is a hybrid, work from home eligible position.

As part of the project team, you will develop and maintain user-facing features and help ensure that the platform meets customer and end-user needs. The successful candidate will be comfortable working within an existing Angular codebase and collaborating with technical and project stakeholders across organizations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate user requirements and user stories to develop and maintain the platform’s user interface.
• Develop reusable Angular components and features that enhance the user experience.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing front-end functionality.
• Integrate user-interface components with application services and data sources.
• Optimize front-end code for performance, responsiveness, and maintainability.
• Participate in component testing, defect resolution, and code review activities.
• Implement changes based on user, customer, and project-team feedback.
• Coordinate front-end development activities with developers, testers, and other project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Three or more years of professional experience developing Angular applications.
• Proficiency with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience developing and maintaining component-based user interfaces.
• Experience troubleshooting and modifying an existing application or codebase.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional project team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Electron framework.
• Experience developing or remediating applications for Section 508 accessibility.
• Experience with REST APIs or other application-service integrations.
• Experience with front-end unit or component testing.
• Python experience.
