Responsibilities  

Data Entry:
  • Retrieve and organize data from databases for data entry, reporting or analysis.
  • Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness before entering into systems.
  • Input various types of data into the designated database systems
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by identifying errors and inconsistencies and making necessary corrections
  • Regularly update and maintain databases, ensuring that records are current and accurate.
  • Ensure that sensitive data is handled securely and in compliance with data privacy policies and regulations.
Data Analysis: 
  • Perform appropriate data preprocessing steps to prepare data for ingestion into pipelines
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of clinical trial and clinical trial operations data
  • Monitor key study metrics using tracking tools, providing timely and quality updates 
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in clinical trial data that may require further investigation or action. 
  • Create clear and informative data visualizations, graphs, and dashboards to present key findings to DSMB members and stakeholders. 
Quality Control: 
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data included in the analysis
  • Identify and report clinical study data-related issues affecting data quality and impeding data import. 
  • Support internal audits by providing requested data and participating in quality checks.
Reporting: 
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports
  • Present reports to clients, program/project staff, and external stakeholders via multiple modalities, i.e., emails, teleconference meetings, etc. 
Communication: 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate data findings, answer questions, and provide insights during meetings. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve reports and refine analyses
  • Anticipate and respond to client needs and provide accurate and timely status updates. 
Documentation: 
  • Maintain detailed documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and results. 
  • Independently validate work products and deliverables before QA and reconcile inconsistencies. 
Continuous Improvement: 
  • Stay current with the industry's best clinical trial data analysis practices and contribute to process improvements. 
Compliance: 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data privacy standards, and company policies. 

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and experience. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of data analysis experience, with a preference for clinical research, clinical trial, or healthcare backgrounds. 
  • Comfortable using Python and Jupyter notebooks
  • Providing visualizations using software platforms, PowerBI
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, including precise proofreading abilities. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling rapid relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, emphasizing problem-solving and process enhancement. 
  • Proficiency in facilitation, complemented by outstanding presentation capabilities. 
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities, demonstrating autonomy with minimal supervision.
