Position Overview
We seek an AI Solutions Architect to drive our AI strategy and development initiatives. In this role, you will shape our AI development process, write and maintain code, and engineer data pipelines to support innovative AI solutions. This position bridges hands-on coding with process design, requiring expertise in programming, deep learning frameworks, and data engineering. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into our products and enhance our technology platform.

Responsibilities
  • Identify current workflows across the company’s projects that can be improved by adopting machine learning solutions (producing better results in less time).
  • Shape the AI Development Process: Collaborate with teams to design, refine, and optimize cost efficient AI workflows and strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the overall technology roadmap.
  • Develop & Code AI Solutions: Write, test, and maintain high-quality code in Python using deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch to build, modify, and deploy AI models across various projects.
  • Engineer Data Pipelines: Design, develop and maintain robust data pipelines and workflows to manage and process large datasets essential for training and fine-tuning models (from initial data wrangling to continuous QC monitoring).
  • Integrate Pre-Trained and Custom Models: Work with existing pre-trained models and customize or fine-tune architectures as needed to meet project requirements and drive innovation.
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Partner with data science, engineering, and product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring that our AI initiatives remain cutting edge.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch). Familiarity with development environments such as Jupyter Lab/Notebooks is essential; bonus points for experience with C++ in performance-critical applications.
  • Data Engineering Experience: Proven track record in designing and maintaining data pipelines and performing data wrangling using tools like Pandas.
  • AI & Machine Learning Knowledge: Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including leading deep learning architectures and algorithms. Working knowledge of best practices for model training and deployment.
  • Additional Technical Skills: Experience with Linux environments, CUDA programming, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
  • Communication: Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Desired Qualifications
  • Mathematical Expertise: Advanced knowledge in linear algebra and multivariate calculus, and statistics;  fluent mathematical understanding of the components that comprise both classical and deep learning models.  Ability to fully digest and explain the details described in any given AI publication.
  • Technically up to date with the rapidly moving state of the art solutions across AI domains. e.g.  multimodal LLMs (NLP, computer vision).
  • Ability to generate multiple potential solutions in the brainstorming phase, weighing their  various tradeoffs, identifying baselines, and ensuring that each is consistent with available data and business goals.
  • Favor in-house solutions built on open source vs paid services.
  • Problem first mindset rather than depending on a fixed set of familiar frameworks and solutions (a clear understanding of your data picks the right model),
  • Innovative Mindset: Demonstrated ability to contribute to novel AI solutions, whether by fine-tuning existing models or developing innovative architectures from scratch.
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience working on dynamic AI projects that require both strategic thinking and hands-on technical execution.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
